The goal of Acadiana Fashion Week is to give every guest an extraordinary experience they will never forget. Our purpose is to inspire through art and fashion, creating moments that move people beyond the runway. Whether you are a designer, model, photographer, stylist, sponsor, or guest in the audience, we want you to leave our shows feeling confident, proud, and fulfilled.

Acadiana is a powerful place for the fashion industry to make its mark. We have the talent, the hospitality, and the cultural uniqueness that sets us apart from any other fashion week. We understand what makes our community different, and we use our creativity to bring that difference to life through fashion, art, and unforgettable experiences.
Acadiana Fashion Week is more than an event. It is a platform, a celebration, and a movement that honors individuality, creativity, and the spirit of Louisiana.

Morgan Pete is an author, public figure, women’s activist, and entrepreneur. She is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned her degree in Biology.

She is the Founder of Acadiana Fashion Week, a platform that has successfully showcased the work of designers and creatives from across the United States. The vision behind Acadiana Fashion Week is to highlight the talent rooted in Louisiana while bringing new audiences to the state to experience its beauty, culture, and creativity. Too often, people hear “Louisiana” and don’t immediately think of fashion and Morgan set out to change that. This mission inspired the movement and tagline #FashionIsHere. Louisiana is filled with talented creatives, models, stylists, and designers, and hosting a fashion week in Acadiana has become an experience all its own.

Morgan also founded the nonprofit organization Sky Is NOT the Limit, created to provide young adults in the community with resources, motivation, and encouragement to pursue their goals with confidence and purpose.

She later signed a publishing contract with Your Time Publishing and released her first book, Nothing Like A Little Bit of Confidence: Living Past Society’s Definition of Beauty. The book was written to empower young adults to embrace inner confidence and understand that their worth is not defined by society’s standards, but by how they choose to love and see themselves. In 2018, she released her second book, Lucid Waters.

Through fashion, literature, community work, and entrepreneurship, Morgan Pete continues to build platforms that inspire confidence, creativity, and opportunity for the next generation.
